This is Maritime Washington
Maritime Washington National Heritage Area
For this 2023 effort, Fishboat Media teamed up with the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation and the Maritime Washington National Heritage Area to produce a series of videos designed to introduce the public to the program, communicate the vibrancy of Washington’s maritime heritage, and highlight a selection of diverse communities along the shores of the newly designated heritage area. The campaign was awarded a Northwest Regional EMMY in the PSA – Single Spot or Campaign category.
Shipwright Sessions
Born in the boatyard, Shipwright Sessions was the catalyst behind Fishboat Media. In the premiere episode “Caulking”, we sit down to talk with Brad Seamans of the Port Townsend Shipwrights Co-Op, who recently wrapped up some of this time honored craft on the F/V Polaris, a storied 100+ year old Halibut Schooner built and maintained right here in Washington State.
